Inleiding/Introduction

In de basisopleiding hebben we de anatomie en biomechanica van het TMG behandeld. We verdeelden TMD-problematiek in myogene en arthrogene categorieën en bespraken de verschillende mogelijke behandelingen. Eigenlijk werd het TMG gezien als de oorzaak van pijn en dysfuncties.

In deze eerste van onze drie tweedaagse masterclasses willen we verder gaan en het TMG zien als slachtoffer van stijgende gevolgketens, en dit voornamelijk uit de hoge en anterieure cervicale regio’s. We zullen de invloeden van deze perifere regio’s onderzoeken, de relatie tot posturaliteit bespreken en de invloed op het TMG zowel theoretisch als praktisch behandelen.

Doelstellingen/Objectives

• De opleiding is gericht op het aanleren van technische & exact-wetenschappelijke kennis en is van toepassing zoals bepaald binnen de Zorg STEM-opleidingen
• Deze masterclass cursus is een verdieping in de dysfuncties van het TMG en een uitnodiging naar het bevatten van de term “orofaciale apparaat”
• Je leert er hoe je de bredere fysische en psychologische processen die het orofaciale apparaat beïnvloeden kan behandelen.
• Met name focussen we in deze masterclass op de relaties van de hoog cervicale wervelkolom en de anterieure cervicale regio met het TMG. 
• Je krijgt een set van onderzoek-, behandeling-technieken en oefentherapie onderwezen.
• Je leert ook hoe je uw therapeutische bevindingen in dit specifiek werkdomein kan delen met andere zorgverstrekkers zoals MKA artsen, orthodonten, tandartsen en ook logopedisten of stemcoaches .
