Adolescence can be a tumultuous time. Today’s teenagers face a unique set of challenges, which have become more complex since the pandemic. Acupuncture is outstanding at effectively treating mental health conditions. We are able to get beyond the labels and tailor our treatments to address the individual nature of each young person’s suffering
Inhoud/Content
During the day, we will look at:
- The nature of adolescence from a Chinese medicine perspective
- An exploration of the exponential rise in adolescent mental/emotional conditions from the Chinese medicine perspective
- The practicalities of working with teenagers in the clinic
- Effective treatment strategies for a wide range of mental-emotional conditions, including anxiety, depression, self-harm, eating disorders.
